Horizon EX33 Review
Horizon EX33 is the second model in Horizon's new EX line of elliptical trainers. This one is an upgrade of the first model, EX22. They are both based on the same frame so we'll just mention the changes that have been made.
Number of resistance levels is up to 10 from 8 levels on previous model. Number of programs is up to 7, including one heart rate program which will help you stay in your target rate zone. Another new thing is the cooling fan which has 3 speed levels and is a bit noisy. Best thing is the new frame warranty - it's set to lifetime and a magnetic brake warranty is now 10 years. We still recommend that you take an extended warranty, because wearing parts will start to brake in a while.
In conclusion, this is a fine model, but if you're looking for an elliptical trainer from this price range, you should save some more money and go for Horizon EX44 because it can sustain heavier people and more intense workouts.
