Horizon EX44 Review
This is the best model in Horizon's EX series. It can sustain intense workouts, from walking to light running, therefore earning it's place next to mid-priced elliptical trainers. It has a good price/value balance and will be a good addition to many homes accros USA.
Reinforced frame gives this model more stability and ability to carry heavier persons. Beside that, machine is much heavier now which also ads to the stability and gives a better feeling while exercising. You may have some trouble moving it around but that shouldn't be a problem if you pick a good space for it beforehand. It has a telemetric heart rate monitor but the chest strap is not included, which is little unusual. It's heart rate program automatically changes resistance throughout 20 resistance levels to target your heart rate zone. You can choose the routine that suits you best from 10 different programs that will keep your exercising interesting.
Horizon EX44 also has a few additional usable details, like two compartments to store a water bottle and an mp3/CD player, a built-in fan and a pivoting foot pad. All these features make Horizon EX44 a good value elliptical, hard to beat in this price range.
