Life Fitness X5 Review
Life Fitness has a reputation of having good products and they confirm that with the X5 elliptical trainer. This is a high class model that goes toe to toe with expensive models on the market.
High production quality is the main feature of this model and it will provide great workout for years, both to you and your familiy members. X5 is very adjustable and can be used by tall and short users alike, with a maximum weight of 350lbs. The machine is very stable at any workout pace, and the trainer itself weights 250lbs, which is pretty heavy for moving around the room but gives needed stability. Beside that, the motion is very smooth and can be compared to any commercial model. Using the adjustable incline, you can create a simulation of mountain climbing by yourself or use one of the predefined programs that will do the work for you. Incline is electronically adjusted, with a touch of a button.
One thing that can be little annoying is the noise that foot pedals make. This is very common for Life Fitness models but you should be aware of the fact that the machine will still work properly. The second thing that might bother you is that x5 functions at a different angle and it will take some time to get used to it if you exercised on some other model before. When you get used to it though, you will enjoy every benefit this machine has to offer.
