New Balance 9.0e Review
New competitor in the mid-ranged ellipticals market has put it's 9.0 model in the same price range with Schwinn 418 and Horizon Fitness 4.1e. Does it stand a chance?
New Balance 9.0e is an interesting machine with good, usable features. Among the most important ones is the resistance - it's nicely done and provides a smooth ride. There are only 8 levels of it, though, so it might take you some time to get used to it if you're an experienced user. Apart from forward motion, there is also a reverse motion which enables you to activate another group of muscles. However, all this can be done at low and medium intensity only, because of the stability and overall quality of the machine.
In terms of quality, New Balance 9.0e can not be compared to Schwinn 418 and Horizon Fitness 4.1e, it lacks a thing or two more to keep up the pace. The best thing is that you won't have to worry about seeing the repairmen, not soon at least - warranty that New Balance gives says enough of it's models quality ( 10 year frame, 2 years electronics, 1 year parts ).
